State Dressage

Congratulations to Arcadia Pony Club who not only arranged picture perfect blue skies, but put on a well run and organised Zone 23 Dressage Championships on Sunday 4th July. Well done to all the Zone 23 members who took part in the competition. Not only was the standard high, but the level of sportsmanship that was demonstrated by the competitors was great to see.

What do I need to practise?

The Mounted Games you need to Practise for the Zone and State Mounted Games Championships are:

The Dressage Tests you need to compete in State One Day Event are:
ODE Dressage Tests
12-15 years Novice 1C
13-15 Advanced 1D
15-17 Novice 1D
17-25 Novice 2A
17-25 Advanced 2B

Remember, as in all State Championship Nominations; a record of your performances (results from other events) must be submitted with your nomination form. Competing at the Zone event (for the discipline you are nominating for) is a mandatory requirement. If there are extenuating circumstances; where you are unable to compete at the Zone event, a letter explaining the situation, with supporting evidence, should be sent to the ZCI for consideration by the Zone committee.

2010 State Dressage

Please note these are the current Equestrian Australia Tests and riders need to have proof of
prior performance at these tests with satisfactory results ; as well as achieve a satisfactory standard at the Zone dressage competition.

Also there are no callers allowed at the Zone Competition for those wishing to nominate for the State dressage championships. (There are no callers permitted at the State Event)


This year the State dressage Championships will be held in Albury.
Zone dressage is planned for 4th July at Arcadia

Entries for State Dressage must be send to the ZCI (from 1st July) Lee-Ann Swan, 46 Burraga Ave, Terrey Hills 2084 by the 8th July, so they can be checked, approved and ranked
